Leigh is a problem solver with a detail-oriented eye. She brings an analytical perspective to each client’s case while remembering the human element underpinning each conflict.
Leigh began her career as a geological engineer, designing dam foundations, managing drill teams, and conducting field tests. Applying linear thinking and problem-solving skills to law was a natural fit. As an attorney, Leigh worked as a patent litigator, focusing on software and mechanical engineering patents. She also has significant experience in both Colorado District Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals, where she was an appellate law clerk for the Honorable Christina Gomez. These judicial experiences enable her to look at a client’s case from the court’s perspective and tailor each case with that in mind.

During law school, she participated in mock trials where judges regularly praised her presence and persuasiveness.
In her work as a patent litigator, Leigh focused on software and mechanical engineering patents. She also has significant experience in both Colorado District Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals, where she was an appellate law clerk for the Honorable Christina Gomez. This training enables Leigh to understand how judges analyze case law and the unique facts of each case.
Leigh is dedicated to ensuring that all people have legal representation and regularly volunteers with the Colorado Lawyers Committee. She also volunteers with organizations addressing homelessness in Denver.
When Leigh isn’t practicing law or volunteering, she enjoys foraging in Colorado’s public lands, fly fishing, hiking, reading, and cooking. She’s enthusiastic about wildlife and water conservation and has relocated elephants and giraffes in South Africa and Mozambique. She’s an active member of the Explorer’s Club and travels whenever her caseload allows.
